Deals S.A. selected Digital Sapiens to support the digital promotion of Weihenstephan in Greece. The partnership brought together social media communications, Google advertising and promotional activity at on-trade venues.
Our aim was to build brand awareness and introduce the range to adult consumers and hospitality professionals, connecting digital communications with opportunities to discover the beers in person.
The brand
With a brewing history dating back to 1040 on Weihenstephan Hill in Freising, Weihenstephan is recognised as the world’s oldest operating brewery. Its Bavarian heritage sits alongside modern brewing equipment and production technology.
That combination of history and expertise guided the communications. The brewery’s heritage provided the starting point, while its beer styles, product characteristics and serving details gave audiences different ways to explore the range.
Our approach
We planned content that gave each product its own place within the brand’s presentation. Brewery stories were combined with product features and visual assets highlighting the bottle, glass and details of the serve.
We also connected advertising with on-trade activity. Digital communications supported brand discovery, while activations at selected venues created opportunities to experience the beers in person.

Event Management & On-Trade Activations
We supported activities at selected venues, coordinating their delivery with the brand’s communications. The aim was to connect online visibility with an in-person product experience.
