Aligenis Milos | International Combined Events Meeting

Digital Communications · Content Production · Digital Promotion

Digital Sapiens led the digital communications for the sixth edition of Aligenis Milos, the international combined events meeting held on the Greek island of Milos on 11 and 12 May 2024. We worked with the organisers on content production and digital promotion for the event.

The event

Aligenis Milos brought decathletes and heptathletes from Greece and abroad to the island. The sixth edition was part of the World Athletics Combined Events Tour at Bronze level. It was co-organised by the Municipality of Milos, the Cyclades regional association of SEGAS and the South Aegean Region, with support from World Athletics.

The decathlon and heptathlon unfold across a series of disciplines. That structure gave the communications a clear purpose. Audiences needed to know who was competing, how the competition would unfold and what they could watch over the two days.

Our approach

We focused on the competition, the athletes and Milos as the host destination. The meeting’s place on the international calendar was relevant to athletics fans. For residents and visitors, the priority was to make it clear what was happening on the island that weekend and give them a reason to watch in person.

What Digital Sapiens did

Digital Communications

We developed the event’s core messaging, bringing together the dates, location, disciplines and the meeting’s place on the international athletics calendar.

Content Production

We created content that paired practical information about the two-day meeting with coverage of its sporting focus. The decathlon, heptathlon and participation of athletes from Greece and abroad were central to the story.

Digital Promotion

We supported the promotion of Aligenis Milos across digital channels, aiming to raise awareness among athletics fans and people on the island who could attend in person.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1775029138292{background-image: url(https://digitalsapiens.gr/new/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Homepage_Clients_Section.jpg?id=380) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}” el_class=”row1″][vc_column][vc_column_text]
